The VMX-pi firmware must be updated to work w/VMX-pi FRC Programming:
VMX-pi Firmware Update:
Ensure that your VMX-pi firmware is updated to the latest version using these Firmware Update Instructions.
The current VMX-pi firmware version can be displayed from a Windows PC by using the “Board Info” tab on the navXUI; the VMX-pi firmware version is also displayed in the Console Log when starting up a WPI Library-based robot application.
Requirement: Version 3.0.411 or higher of VMX-pi firmware is necessary for use with the FRC Robot programming using the WPI Libraries.
