These guidelines help you transition your Raspberry Pi running the VMX Robotics Toolkit for use in FRC Competition.
- Review the FIRST FRC Field Management System (FMS) Whitepaper. The FMS is the system used to manage communication between a FRC Drive Station, Robot and a Raspberry Pi used as a co-processor. Some very important details are in this document, including the allowed range of TCP Ports which may be used for communication.
- Disable Wifi on the Raspberry Pi. This includes when in the pits as well as on the competition field.
